Hi, I'm Shelby, a pop singer-songwriter who writes for myself and for other artists. As a performer, I feel it’s important to establish a connection with my audience by expressing authenticity in the lyrics or story. I write from the experience of a minority-- a woman trying to make in a male dominated industry. “Nothing is Impossible the word itself says 'I’m possible.'”

I've performed various venues in California including The Hilton Bayfront Hotel, The Balboa Bay Club, The Welk Resorts, La Costa Resorts, The Brooks Theatre, Harrah’s and The Star Theatre in Oceanside. At the age of sixteen, I won first place in the San Diego Fair’s youth singing competition singing my original song “Gravity”.

This was at one of my last performances before the Pandemic, I really loved the duet of "Shallow," so I made it a solo.

I sang a cover of "Say Something" twice for a talent show and this what happened in the second performance:
"Despite several obstacles impeding her performance, Shelby turned in a flawless rendition of ‘Say Something’. A flock of seagulls chose the moment Shelby began singing to perch on top of the theater and put on their own show. Then someones cell phone rang. To top it off, the boom for the microphone was loose and the microphone kept dropping down, in slow motion, until it landed on the keyboard of the piano but Shelby never missed a beat".-- Oside News
I wrote "Every Girl's Nightmare" in high school after my friend's boyfriend cheated on her with a mutual friend. I enjoyed performing this at the school talent show, knowing he was in the audience.
